The Canesten Combi Soft Vaginal Capsule & Thrush Cream offers a dual-action treatment that combines a single-dose vaginal capsule with a soothing external cream to effectively treat and relieve the symptoms of thrush. Designed for convenience and comfort, the capsule targets the infection at its source, while the cream alleviates external itching and irritation.

Thrush can be treated at home with Canesten treatments, which are available without a prescription. Canesten recommends using a combination of treatments to clear the infection and calm symptoms such as itching, burning, redness, swelling, and soreness.

How To Use

With the help of the applicator, insert the soft vaginal capsule as high as possible into vagina before going to sleep at night.

Apply the cream thinly and evenly to the area around the entrance of the vagina and smooth in gently. Please read package directions carefully before using until symptoms disappear. If pregnant or trying for a baby, consult your doctor or midwife before using Canesten®. Medicines can affect the unborn baby. Always read the label.

Active Ingredients

Active ingredients: the soft vaginal capsule contains clotrimazole 500mg. The 10g tube of external cream contains clotrimazole 200mg (2% w/w).

Also contains:

• Soft vaginal capsule: white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, gelatin, glycerol, titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), sunset yellow (E110), lecithin (source of soya oil), medium-chain triglycerides.
• External cream: benzyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol and purified water.
